Filmschaffende und Medienkünstlerin , geboren und aufgewachsen in Kärnten im Süden Österreichs arbeitet vorranging mit Bewegtbild, Text und Sound. Weitere Prozesse ihrer künstlerischen Praxis finden sich in Olfaktorik und Performance. Sie lebt seit 2014 in Wien und studiert an der Akademie der bildenden Künste.

filmmaker and media artist, born and raised in Carinthia in the south of Austria, works primarily with moving image, text and sound. Further processes of her artistic practice can be found in olfactorics and performance. She has lived in Vienna since 2014 and studies at the Academy of Fine Arts.

Das Radl der ZeitOmeU 2021

ein filmisches Porträt, das von Einsamkeit und Abschied erzählt. Zu sehen sind Wälder, Wiesen und die Spuren, die Menschen in der Natur hinterlassen haben. Dabei verweist die Künstlerin auf Landwirtschaft und Traditionen und gibt einen Einblick in ein schweigsames, hintergründiges und doch omnipräsentes Miteinander der Menschen eines abgelegenen Ortes im Süden Österreichs.

A cinematic portrait that tells a story of loneliness and farewell. The film features forests, meadows, and the traces that people have left behind in nature. In doing so, the artist draws attention to agriculture and traditions and offers a glimpse into the quiet, subtle, yet omnipresent sense of community among the people of a remote village in southern Austria.

Eine Arbeit, die drei Sagenwesen des deutschsprachigen Alpenraums durch Gerüche und vorgetragene Texte porträtiert. Im Zentrum steht die Imagination des Publikums: Die Bilder entstehen nicht auf der Leinwand, sondern in den Köpfen der Zuhörenden. So lässt sich die Arbeit als Conceptual Cinema lesen — als Kino, das sich im Vorstellungsraum des Publikums entfaltet.

This work portrays three mythical creatures from the German-speaking Alpine region through scents and recited texts. The focus is on the audience’s imagination: the images do not appear on the screen, but in the minds of the listeners. The work can thus be interpreted as conceptual cinema—as cinema that unfolds in the audience’s imagination.

2. Film erzählt von den Erinnerungen verschiedener Frauen aus einem abgelegenen Ort in Kärnten, die in einen alpenlädischen Reim übersetzt wurden, begleitet von Bildern, die zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart changieren.

2nd film, that speaks of the memories memories of various women from a remote village in Carinthia, which have been rendered in an Alpine-style rhyme, accompanied by images that shift between the past and the present.

3. Film; n’mav čez izaro, aus dem Slowenischen übersetzt “A bissl übern See” ist ein Versuch, Sprache und Identität anhand von Spuren der Vergangenheit darzustellen, die dazu diente, die slowenische Identität in den Kärntner Gebieten Österreichs zu dekonstruieren.

3rd film; n’mav čez izaro, translated from Slovenian as “a little bit about/across the lake” is an attempt to explore language and identity through traces of the past, with the aim of deconstructing Slovenian identity in the Carinthian regions of Austria.
